Kuroor Mana - 11 Classic Rooms
All the rooms in the Classic Category are housed in the famous Kuroor Mana. This
160 year old ancestral home once belonged to the famous Kuroor family of Trichur
in Central Kerala. Some of Kerala’s great Poets & social teachers like
Kuroor Neelakandan Namboothiripad and Kuroor Unni Namboothiripad come from this
family.
The Classic rooms are all well laid out with double beds, reading / writing area,
cable TV, 24 hr hot water supply, 24 hr room service.
This heritage house
is associated with the legends of Lord Guruvayoorapppan. Mahatma Gandhi also visited
this house. This traditional home has the largest courtyard and an upper floor.
A theatre is attached to the house that is used for performing arts like Kathakali.
It is also having the largest atrium in the complex.
